  Imagine a bond,
  So close,
  So special,
  That you call your own.
  Envision this bond,
  Being with another person,
  That you love so much it hurts you deeply.
  
  One day you find this person gone,
  Pried from your grasp,
  Forever lost in the world.
  Your heart burns,
  And you feel like your emotions are eating you whole.
  
  This,
  My friend,
  Is what loss feels like.
  This is what I now leave you with,
  To ponder,
  To grasp,
  To reshape into your own twisted image,
  So that you may never forget these lessons that I have taught you,
  These lessons that will shape your future.
