isnt it about some girl whose brother dies and she steals books from libraries or something?

Well it didn't really fit Tyler's discriptuon so perhaps you were thinking of something else.

(I am talking about Unwind, BTW)
This is one of the most heart-wrenching, disturbing books I have ever read. It uses real-life, current stories in the media at the start of each part, and the quotes are just amazing. It's passionate and tearful and I'm proud to admit that I cried at the end. Yes, near the end there are scenes of surgery, and I think there is some mild profanity (only mild, though), and the tiny hint of romance isn't graphic at all. It gets you thinking about how teenagers are portrayed in the media today, how many lives are lost due to the unavailability of organ donors, and how easily a society can change. It's a rare current dystopian novel that doesn't mimic The Hunger Games or Divergent, and it doesn't have enough credit.
(there are also three sequels, Unwholly, Unsouled and Undivided, as well as an ebook, Unstrung.)
