Her body shook as she stared at the figures whom she could barely make out in the shadows. A white mask, gold eyes, a set of shining purple eyes, and a red coat.
She crawled farther into the alley, wincing at the pain in her broken ankle.
Suddenly she felt something hit her head, and blood trailed into her eyes. In a few moments, her world went black...
Envy crossed his arms, not looking the man in the face.
"You let them escape?!" The man yelled, eyes flaring.
"Actually, no. They escaped on their own." Envy remarked, then realized he might not of should of said that.
Envy ducked as he saw something golden being flung through the air at him.
"Alright alright! Sheesh, I'll see what I can do."
Winry sat at home, watching the stars. Ling stood behind her, with a small girl sleeping on him, clinging to his back.
"They're beautiful, huh?" Ling remarked, sitting down beside his wife, taking the small girl off his back and holding her close.
"Yes.."Winry whispered, brushing the blonde curls out of the girl's closed eyes, smiling.
"She's going to grow up to be beautiful, just like her mom." Ling said.
"She already has your appetite." Winry joked, kissing the girl's forehead.
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?"Ling huffed, pretending to be insulted.
"Just what I said."Winry taunted, kissing Ling.
And that shut him up.
