Help for my story?

My teacher announced today that we will soon have a writing test. The story will be titled "Lost in the Rainforest" I already have a good idea of what will happen. I just need an interesting ending. What is going to happen is that two sisters, Astrid and Arielle and going to Brazil for a holiday. Astrid is asleep in the plane, when she awakes to find that the plane is falling out of the sky. When the plane crashes in the middle of the Amazon Rainforest, only Astrid and Arielle survive. Astrid is fine apart from a few cuts, but Arielle's arm has been broken. The next day, Astrid goes off in search of water. She starts daydreaming and doesn't realise how far she's wandered away from Arielle. She finds water and returns, completely unaware that she'd been gone for two hours. She finds that Arielle has been ripped apart by a jaguar. Astrid is left traumautised and moves somewhere else.
I want to end it there, but I think it'll be boring if the ending is "Asrtid moves away - THE END!" so maybe a sort of cliffhanger ending...
I'm in P7 and I don't really write stories, although I read ALOT, and I really want to do well in this test because our soon to be secondary teachers will see then and it will determine if I get put in a high or low literacy class.

Don't make her move away. Simple as that. Make her stay. Like she cant stand to leave.

rascal1178 ExperiencedI agree with OZZYIOMMI. If she stays because of emotional attachment then you can make her go through an extremely difficult time where she's battling herself. She won't be able to decide whether or not to leave, and she'll feel guilty for leaving her sister alone for so long. You would be able to emphasize the struggle going on within Astrid at the time. Then the jaguar could come back and attack her, and she could kill it in revenge for her sister. She can take the skin of the jaguar as a trophy, which she then marks her sister's grave with (if she has a grave, that is). Then a search party could find her and make her leave, against her will. When she gets back to her home her whole family could be happy but she feels as though she has still greatly failed her sister. Then she jumps off a bridge and you see her grieving family at her funeral, soaked in tears and water from the rain.
