In my own skin
Everyday, I go to school, thinking about my day
Everyday, I walk down the halls and feel their eyes burning me with hatred.
Everyday, I go to class, and they snicker at my clothes.
Everyday, I laugh with my friends and they look at me in disgust.
They mock me.
They tease me.
They brutally beat me.
The populars are the ones I hate the most.
But now I'm beginning to realize,
That I'm comfortable in my own skin.
I don't care what they think.
So, when they glare at me,
I glare at them,
A tiny smirk placed on my lips,
And walk by confidently,
Knowing that they don't really hate me,
If they take time out of their day to think about me. -
......?
