Dx I'm sorry, I'm on my iPod and it's impossible to see the threads.
I got an idea as to how the community knows The Man. He works at the local movie theater, in the 10pm-6pm slot selling tickets.
A frail, grey hand slid underneath the ticket slot, pushing the two cards closer to me. "Your tickets, Missy," a gravelly voice said. I could have sworn I could see startlingly white teeth glint in the booth. The dark figure inside shifted. As I went to grab the tickets, the hand grabbed mine. A cold chill ran down my spine. I yelped and jumped back. I sprinted as fast as I could from that wretched place. The tickets fluttered to the ground behind me. -

Now, would it be suiting to switch points of view? Maybe have the first part be from another character (a girl?)'s point of view; then alternate every other section of the book to get the whole story?
If we do that, I have an idea as to how we can start it out. Actually, it could work both ways. So, your thoughts? -

Okay. So, tell me what you think of this.
They tell stories of a man in a booth, an unfortunate soul whose life took a horribly wrong turn. He wasn't always this dismal of a soul; he used to drown in wealth and pride....
And it would go on from there, blah blah blah... I'll continue with it if that's the approach you'd like to take.
