I've stopped believing I can make things change
I can't stop the sun, I can't stop the rain
I can't stop everyone from running away
I can't stop the past from taking over today -
My crimson blood and poison tears
The greatest of my greatest fears
Has come to haunt me day and night
The darkness that has come to light
The torn butterflies fly
By my teary bloodshot eyes
Their wings beating me black and blue
A reminder of what I've done to you -

Everywhere I turn there's another rule
Used by the world as another tool
To control every aspect of another life
The value seems to minimize
I can't trust anyone
Especially you

No noise when everthing is so loud

To me it all makes sense somehow
