This is a wake up call. A new beginning, if you will. A chance to make things right... To correct your sins, if correction is an act that is still living.
Sins that have brought curse to your name.
Curses that act as 1 ton weights, weighing you down.
Down, down, down, through the soil.
Falling past the last rays of light, the last reminder of the world you used to know.
Once you realize where you're headed, it's already too late.
You land with a sickening plunk in the molten lava, the sheer jarring heat of it scolding you to the point where it is unbearable.
You fight to escape, but there is nowhere but down.
Up is non-existent, and as you struggle to go to this fake place the pull of gravity on you only intensifies.
You are defeated, you are far gone.
A long painful death awaits, torture and agony not suitable words for such blight you are experiencing.
You wish for death to grasp you faster, to leap upon your burning soul and devour you instantaneously.
But you know that can't happen. You will have to suffer long before leaving this place.
If only you knew... There is no escape...
Because this, my friend, is Hell. -
