Franchesca was walking past the adobe houses, the red rough walls skinning her arms as she pressed up against them, hiding her face behind a handkerchief. The dust blew up from the iron rimmed hooves of four black stallions, and one black mustang. She saw her colt, a rily one bred from Napolean, the big blocky mustang and Josy, a slender stallion. Franchesca clicked her tongue from behind the red cloth, and her colt, Salvador, stopped from his herd, being lead by Franchesca's father, Gabriel. Salvador trotted over to her, whinnying a small, squeaky neigh. Already, Sal was two years old and big. Franchesca held his broad cheeks in her hands and put her forehead on his nose, murmuring, "Soon, we'll be gone...."

It was the end of the day, once again. Jacklyn made her way to her home. It was only two blocks away now. And boy, was it hot! But it usually was after school.
Anyway, She was walking, when all the sudden she stumbled upon a glowing rock. It was glowing all the colors of the rainbow.
"Woah!!" Jacklyn said as she picked up the small stone. It seemed to glow even more when she touched it.
Then from no where, a quiet voice, "I will grant you three wishes."
"Huh? Who said that." Jacklyn was confused.
"The rock of coarse! But im no ordinary rock, im a MAGICAL rock! Who grants any three wishes!"
Jacklyn beamed, "So i can wish for anything?"
"You got it!" The rock said. And with that there appeared a jar. On that jar there was a label that said, 'anything'.
"But.. I didnt.. Wish i had 'anything'!" Jacklyn complained.
"Of course!!" The rock said and within the blink of an eye, Jacklin didnt have anything. No house, no nothing.
"AHHH!" Jacklyn screamed as she realized her backpack, her house, her bike, her friends, and her shoes, everything was gone!!
Jacklyn then said, "I wish i had all my stuff back!!"
"Sure thing." The rock replied, and replaced all of her 'stuff'. Her house and her bike and her shoes. But what Jacklyn didnt specify WAS that family members and friends are not stuff.
To this day, Jacklyn has no friends or family members.
Moral- Think before you speak to a talking rock..

"Sarah, you've got to let it go. They're not coming back." I sigh as I look out the window overlooking the entire town. "I just keep hoping that it was all a dream." I say. Myrtle looks at me with pity in her eyes, "Me too Fauna, me too" She turns to go but stops as if somthing we're holding her back. "Myrtle?" I ask, "Myrtle, are you okay?" As if in answer she falls on the floor, dead.

I changede my short story.
Prologue
"K, bye!" I waved to the silver car purring in my drive way, and through the suffocating darkness, I say movement through the windshield. He had waved back. Then I turned to my front door, fumbling with the keys in my purse, trying to push them into the small slit in the handle. I had to jiggle and twist the knob a few times before it finally creaked open.
I expected to see dad idly swaying in the padded rocking chair, or mom to come rushing at me and sweep me up in a hug, but not a light was on. I shivered, it was a bit chillier in here than outside, which wasn't strange, since it was summer, and the ac was at full blast, but the darkness of the house made me shudder. I reached for the light switch, which was wet. I cringed.Hannah had probably turned on the light switch with something on her hands. I had to be careful not to touch anything else, so it wouldn't become stickified.
Then as I flicked on the light and screamed. The fluid was red, and it was running down the tan walls. I heard thumping upstairs, then silence. I smashed myself against the wall, to scared to move. Then suddenly the shattered sound of glass breaking made e lunge up the steps, even though my whole mind was on lockdown, trying to think and run away, but I pressed through a fog of fear, to my parents bedroom.

I'd post my short stories, but they're always 20 pages long. =w=

The door was open, and I regretted looking in, running up the steps, coming home. Taylor had asked me if I'd want to come live with him, but I had refused. I was only seventeen, still one year away from adulthood, but I wanted to live my senior year to the fullest.
I redirected my attention to the scene before me. Mom and dad lay in bed, in a natural pose, but the blankets weren't moving around their chests, not even the slightest movements. I pulled back the covers, and shrieked again. Their chest were bloody, the skin was ripped into strips pulled back to reveal their rib cage. I felt like fainting, but gripped the dresser. The blood was pounding in my ears, making it hard to here, but I was able to make out a small voice calling out. "Sienna." I froze, then robotically walked to Hannah's room, and instead of shrieking, I cried. Hannah's eye lids, notstrils and lips were slit. I rushed over to her and pressed her to me in a hug. "Hannah, oh what....what happned?" I tried to wipe the back of my hand against my eyes, but accidentally slapped my nose. I was crying so hard I couldn't control myself. -

I've written about 45 pages of The Wishing Pearl of Haythem and 40 pages of book 2 of Roeth.
So I think I'll finish my short Romance story. =) -
Hannah whimpered quietly, so I released her from my hug to se that her chest had been slit to. Nasuea washed over me, but I fought it off. "He said his name was Adam Chancelor." The name didn't ring a bell, but I would tell it to the police later. I dug through my purse and called the police.

The sirens squealed down the streets, and I squirmed uncomfortably, not wanting to be the center of attention, or be writtne down as a suspect for the murder.
