Planet Annihilation

Planet Arethusa is a planet located 70,000 light years away from Earth. Until recently, it has been a wealthy planet, harvesting magic from the ground, trading with other interstellar planets and thriving on the best money can buy. But, all good things come to an end when the people of Arethusa find out the government is lying to them. The magic is being used for personal gain among executive leaders, and among the wealthy who can purchase it in bulk. This causes many citizens to rise in revolt, tearing down the government with what little magic they have.
The rebellion doesn’t last long, and soon the citizens of Arethusa are under the influence of governmental magic. They have no choice in their actions. If the government tells them to jump, they jump. Simple as that. The government officials don’t trust the citizens of Arethusa, but they are keeping most of them alive so they can harvest the magic out of the ground. From this group of citizens, there are a select few who feel the effect of magic waning off, and they decide to make an escape plan. They plan to go to planet Earth. A place that is a mystery to them, but they have heard there is someone there who can help them. Someone with a different kind of magic. -
The House on the Hill

Disclaimer: This was based off a dream I had, so don't judge me 😭
In the town of Ashenburg, there was a house that sat on top of a hill. The only way up or down from this house was a wooden rope bridge, and even then it was considered perilous to go there due to the rotting wood and frayed rope. The house's last inhabitants left in the middle of the night without a word. They left everything in the house, leaving it fully furnished. For the longest time, this place was put on the housing market with no potential buyers.
While it was on the market, a group of friends stumbled upon it without knowing the history and put a down-payment on it. Once they met with the realtor of the home, the history of the house was disclosed and the friends made plans to start renovating and getting to the bottom of what was causing this haunting. The first couple of days in the home go as normal, but then one day when making finalizations on the property the realtor goes missing. This starts a serious of events, and if the group of friends cannot provide evidence that they weren't not the cause of this disappearance they face serious reprocussions. In this race against the paranormal, who will come out ahead? -
