i wanna write a short story for a character but i dunno where to start because i'm not sure how to get across his personality HRRG
I want him to come off as someone who's a total a--hole when you meet him at first but if you stick around long enough you find he's a very epic and cool person in truth -
If you're still on this issue, you can always start with character bios, and if that doesn't work for you then you can also write "journals" in his perspective or in the perspective of someone who's met him.
That usually helps with learning about characters and how to write them. Directors, playwrights and authors use the same tricks too -
