These Origins are inspired by the "Origins SMP" and "Afterlife SMP". I take zero credit for the ideas! -
Merling
Definition: a half-human half-fish hybrid with fish-like ears, gills and a fish tail (tails are rare).
Random Facts
*The Merling population is 2,000
*Basically all of them live in the ocean
*They love shiny things and decorate everything with these items.
Abilities/Strengths
+able to breathe underwater
+can see underwater
+extremely fast at swimming
Weaknesses
-can't be out of the water for more than a minute
-their voices sound distorted for people outside of the water -
Elytrian
Definition: a human with wings, the most common being bird wings. Some elytrians have bird features as well.
Random Facts
*The Elytrian population is 3,000
*Most Elytrians live in the mountains
*Almost all Elytrians have Claustrophobia due to their wing size (about 15 feet fully extended)
Abilities/Strengths
+born with wings
+has superhuman jumping
+can speak bird
Weaknesses
-takes more kinetic damage
-can faint if they are flying too long (varies from person to person) -
Withered
Definition: a ghost-looking human with blackened fingers, eyelids, lips, and ears (which are pointy).
Random Facts
*The Withered population is 300
*They all live in caves. Very few leave these caves unless its dark.
Abilities/Strengths
+when looked in the eyes, the other person passes out
+can levitate off the ground
+can turn invisible
Weaknesses
-can't go in the sun
-has a faster hunger metabolism, even faster in invisible mode -
Bugi
Definition: a short human with tiny bug wings (most commonly bee wings).
Random Facts
*The Bugi population is 7,000
*Their living habitat is either in human towns or in the forest
*Some of them create their own clothing, while for others they go to shops designed for their size.
Abilities/Strengths
+can climb up surfaces with ease
+can levitate off the ground
+blends in with some habitats
Weaknesses
-only 8 inches tall
-can't see well -
Featherling
Definition: a human with a skin parachute around their waist and feathers on their ears.
Random Facts
*The Featherling population is 500
*They all live in the mountains
*Their parachutes are literally their skin. They can't take them off unless they do a surgery
Abilities/Strengths
+can glide gracefully
+extremely light (about 70 lb is the average weight for an adult)
+can speak bird
Weaknesses
-has to sleep at a high altitude (high place, basically.)
-slower than normal humans -
Enderian
Definition: a tall human looking creature with black skin (sometimes white or even skin colored as well, very rare), tiny horns and pointed ears.
Random Facts
*The Enderian population is 6,000
*They mostly live in caves or human towns
*They all are tall b!tches
Abilities/Strengths
+can teleport
+faster than the average running speed
+can speak enderman
Weaknesses
-burns when touching water
-gets hurt when looked in the eyes -
Gem Holders
Definition: someone who has a colored gem permanently embedded into their skin.
Random Facts
*There's only 18 of them, not counting the rare origins.
*Each origin has a different colored gem:
Merling = Blue
Elytrian = Grey
Withered = Black
Bugi = Green
Featherling = Red
Enderian = Purple
Ability
+Gems give the holder an extra ability, depending on their species.
Weaknesses
-They are extremely dangerous for humans to touch.
-They're stuck into the holder's skin. Trying to take them off will result in losing blood.
