There’s a starman
Way up past the sky,
Living past the clouds
Where dreams can never die
There’s a starman
Holding up the sky
Raining down his tears,
'Cause the sun hurts his eyes
There’s a star-world
Way past your sight
You never really see it,
But it reminds you that you’re alright.
When you lay in your bed
When lightning strikes,
When the thunder shakes the sky,
Crying in fright, because it seems like you’ll die
