Genre: Science Fiction/Near-Future/Technothriller/Mystery
About: Magnus Sungam is a genius psychopath, and he is taken out of federal prison to solve a mystery that no one else can solve. Agent Alice Rosalie Steen, Commander of the U.S government's covert Intel Ops, is tasked with keeping Magnus on mission and making sure he doesn't escape or get in any trouble. Magnus eventually falls in love with her, and together they uncover the darkest secret the world has ever faced. Expect it to be full of plot twists and turns, and big and intelligent ideas unprecedented in magnitude. -
:OOO DUDE THAT BOOK SOUNDS AWESOME
I WOULD TOTALLY READ THAT
Idk, I'm just gonna say to be as creative as possible, and also try your best to make the very beginning of the book very interesting to hook the readers in. Other than that there's not much to it, just put your heart into it, make sure you're using correct grammar and whatnot, and you're already on the path to a successful book! If you ever need any help on it or nything, I'm always here if you nee me :) -
Thank you very much. I am working on the plot right now and I should have it done in a few months. I am awfully young (14) so it will take a few years to publish it, but expect it to be done in the next decade. Those are very encouraging words.

I haven't thought up a villain yet. I have played around with the idea that it is a family member, like an uncle, or maybe a brother or sister. I have also played around with the idea of multiple villains, to further shape the ending into something truly incredible.

Oh and if you are looking for a book of that specific genre, you should check out Douglas E. Richard's "The Immortality Code" which is currently available on Kindle and will soon be released on hardback and paperback. It was published last month, so look for it soon!

He is a truly incredible author whom I take great inspiration from.

Here's a little introduction to my book. which is to be called ENIGMA

Hello
This book rests mostly in a genre called technothrillers. Technothrillers are thrillers, obviously, which means that they grip you, keep you intrigued with every page.
As a first-time author, I decided on that genre after reading Douglas E. Richard’s The Immortality Code. This book, which I highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic science fiction novel that keeps you holding your breath from the first word to the last, inspired me and made me finally sit down and think about what I want this novel to be about. In Douglas E. Richard’s book, the main villain is a cunning, evil psychopath.
I examined his explanation of what it means to be a psychopath, and then I played around with the idea that the hero of my book could be a psychopath. Sharp-witted, cunning, charming, and merciless killers who will stop at nothing to get what they want. And then I dimmed it down a bit.
My main character, Magnus Sungam (yes it is a palindrome), is a sharp-witted, cunning, charming, but disturbed criminal who can’t escape the massive guilt of his crimes. His genius IQ (at 168), his charming personality, all make him a likable character other than his illness. But can he overcome his psychopathic mind and do the job the government gave him to be a hero? Well, you’ll just have to find out!
I will try to make this book as twisty and turny as possible, and I will do my best for a fourteen-year-old teenager. I will also try to use extensive vocabulary to make it feel like it is written by an accomplished adult author.
Plot twists are vital in this genre. People who read thrillers tend to have short attention spans, like me. They find normal books too boring, not captivating enough for their time. Now I’m not saying you’re one of those people, but that’s the truth. I myself suffer from that horrible condition. I long for the day when I can finish Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace, or even William Golding’s Lord of the Flies. I just can’t sit down and READ it. I need books that take my breath away, like David Baldacci’s The Falling and George Orwell’s 1984. Those kinds of books are why I LOVE to read.
This book is my first ever legitimate attempt at novel writing. The farthest I have ever gotten is a few chapters in a space opera book inspired by a couple of science fiction novels from eBay.
All I know for sure is that I have great ideas, and it will be a great challenge to put them on paper properly.
In order to weave such a complex plot full of twists, turns, betrayals, attacks, while still incorporating amazing technology, unbelievable ideas, and just the right amount of everything else!
