"The Widow's New Baby"
I saw it clear as day,
Altough it feels more like a dream.
I'm going to take it away.
In the woods it lay,
Ripping apart at its seam.
I saw it clear as day.
What happened to it, I can not say.
It is dead, anyone could deem.
I'm going to take it away.
I remember when I lost my May,
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
I saw it clear as day.
Nobody can see me, I pray.
This isn't as bad as it may seem.
I'm going to take it away.
This little one doesn't have a say.
I'll bring it back, make it pristine.
I saw it clear as day,
And so I took it away.

I uh, I has sad news.
I think I'm going to withdraw from the contest.
I've just not really had any inspiration for a story and honestly will probably forget about this and not make an entry even if I did. I'm sorry and I hope the contest goes well :') -
