  Standing in the wake of devistation,
  Impossibly alone,
  Lost in this sea of tears
  And love
  And sorrow.
  
  Trying to forget
  To be strong
  For him,
  For everyone
  But strength is not there
  Only weakness
  And depression.
  
  Letting it go is not an option
  Crying is all you can do
  You wish you could save them
  But there's nothing you can do
  
  Watching them slowly slip away
  Like ripping a bandage off of raw skin
  Hurts the most
  And tears my heart clear out of my chest.
  
  Losing them.
  Watching them go.
  It leaves another wound
  In my already broken heart.
