In return, I'll be giving individual thanks to each of you in the dedications of my book, as well as all of the sequels. The publication company is extremely good and I'm allowed to publish with another company if they don't sell a set number of books within a year.
About the book:
-Fantasy

-Battle scenes
-Magic
-Teenage characters
-40,000+ word goal
If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I'll be setting up an email specifically for this book, and will need emails from each of the betas I consider. I am looking for a total of three. Although there is no deadline for feedback on chapters, I would be happy if you would be able to respond within a week or less. Feel free to collaborate with each other on certain chapters, or to ask ME questions about them.
If you're interested, this is the only thing you have to do to be considered for one of my betas:
Write 3+ sentences as to why you think you'd be a good fit to beta my book.

I think I'd fit the bill as I have always been successful in reading/writing/and English in school. I am in AP Language and Composition at the moment and have been working with reading passages, analyzing, and editing basically all year. I've tutored people and have been capable of bringing their Writing/Reading/English scores up. On a 6 point scale for elementary school children, I have been able to bring 4 kids up from a 2 to a 5 in the last year. One middle schooler I tutor has improved from 'D's and 'C's to solid 'B's and a few 'A's on his work. I am very blunt and will tell you exactly what I think should be edited/altered. I can also catch grammar and spelling mistakes pretty easily.

Though I'd love to help with this, I'm not in 9th grade, I'm in 7th. In a few months I'll be in 8th..
I do have a 12th grade reading level, though, and have read over three million words this year and over six million last year. I go to a magnet middle school and my older brother, who is in his senior year of high school, has asked me for help with writing assignments more than once. Sometimes I find little mistakes in books a normal person would skip over because I'm an extreme perfectionist (like missing periods and quotation marks). Also, I've won awards pertaining to memory, like memorizing the entire periodic table in order, but despite all of this, I understand if you want to choose other people over me because of my grade level. -
If you'd email me or give me yours, I'll send you both links to the google docs where you can edit, along with the questions for the first chapter.
