Tears coming down my cheeks,
as I sit here and wait,
I felt like I was being dangled,
in front of lions as the bait.
Tears streaking on my face,
as I hold in all my fear,
they all left me here again,
no one ever is too near.
Tears filling in my eyes,
as I watch my life fly by,
being held down in the dirt,
as I tried to reach the sky.
Tears dripping on the floor,
into a pool at my feet,
pain too hard to take anymore,
it is the pain I cannot beat.
Tears falling from my heart,
I'm right here on my own,
no one there to help me now,
how did I end up all alone? -
