Here's mine:
Apocalypse:
A whim but never whim again,
To be crushed by the terror,
We're entering a world of need,
There is no time for error,
To lock one's self inside a cage,
No one will ever enter,
A fractured skull inside a grave,
There brews an ev'lasting winter,
To love what you will miss the most,
Too late it's almost gone,
The rancid smell of broken dreams,
I this war you're but a pawn. -

smartgirl115 NoviceWhat happens ro a dream deferred?
Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore,
and then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Like crust and sugar over
a syrupy sweet?
Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.
Or does it explode?
-Langston Hughes, "Montage Of A Dream Deferred" -
*flips through poem book...* ahh yes..this one.....
"Death"
I think about it sometimes
I wonder what it's like
I don't really like it though
Because it gives me the chills and fright
I think it'll be peaceful
It just might
Not knowing, I feel scared
But then, suddenly, I don't care
I live life
And that's how it is
Live it day by day
Until it all ends..... -
hope you liked it.....:)
