There was two girls, both around the same age. They both knew each other for years, and they knew that they would never be enemies again. One day, a cold Autumn day, a Friday, they had a playdate. This was quite usual comparing that they were best friends and lived close to each other. First thing, they went inside, got a drink and a snack. Next thing the one girl knew, who was named Owl, her friend had ran outside. She sprung up from her snack, ran to the door, quickly unlocked and opened it, ran outside and slammed it behind her. She felt the chilly air against her face. She went around back to where she heard the leaves rustle. "Hmmm..." Confused she continued along a path, listening for leaves moving. Soon she did, screaming out her friend's name, Moon. "MOON!!!" she screamed again "MOON!!!" Now even more confused,She went through a thorny path. Her clothes were torn and wrinkled. She heard her friend call back, "OVER HERE!" She listened. Forward She thought. "SAY THAT AGAIN!!!" She screamed out. "OVER HERE!!!" Her friend responded. [i]Left[i/] She said the directions in her mind. She then saw her friend, near a hunting pole. "GET DOWN FROM THERE!" She cautiously walked forward. "Why!?!?" Her friend shouted back. "IT'S DANGEROUS!" She screamed back. [i] Ugh [i/] She thought, annoyed. Her friend climbed down, went through the ivy and weeds and met her on the path. "Why did you go up there!" She hissed at her. "IDK!" [i] I'm sure she does! [i/] She thought. She ran back while her friend walked. When she got to the front step she heard her friend scream, she bolted back, she was staring, in mid air, a shadowy figure, a ghost. "Wtf." Her friend said. [i]Err..[i/] She thought. They started walking, but the ghost followed. "Oh Sh-!" Her friend exclaimed. They ran back inside. " Where's your sh-... I MEAN TRASH CAN!" She laughed. " Hope my mom didn't hear that. " She exclaimed. She started laughing, pointing to the bin. Her mom came downstairs, heard them laughing and asked what's so funny. "A joke." They both responded. "Ha!" Her mom said. They went outside, and went to visit her cat's grave. Walking calmly, still a bit traumatized by the previous ghost they arrived. They heard a meow, than a translucent cat came out of the bushes. "...0.0" Her eyes opened wide. " A CAT!?!!" She exclaimed. " GHOST CAT!?!?" Her friend said. They ran back. Seeing a ghost on their way. " Oh god!!!" She exclaimed. They ran inside, caught there breath and agreed, NO MORE OUTSIDE. " Let's' start the haunted house for Trunk or Treat." She said. " Yea." Her friend agreed. They ran upstairs and grabbed, boxes among boxes. Then, her parents said they had to do it...OUTSIDE?!?! They ran, everything went find until her friend ran into the far front yard. She returned, with a piece of a mesh cloth in her hand. They finished, when they soon ran out of time. They went inside and had dinner.

CHAPTER TWO - IDEAS
It was the next day, Saturday. Owl happily sat in her bed, wondering what Moon was doing, as always. She decided to take a 'quick' nap. Which really meant sneak on the computer. She would get a free hour on the computer, no work, no nothing. That's what she liked!! Owl took piano and had other things, like homework, she was 10 after all! She played games and such on the computer during her hour. She drew on programs, coded and wrote stories. Soon later though, he got a phone call, MOON! Moon told her to play a certain game, she begged her mother, who let her. At 8:00PM . They played that game till Owl wanted to play another, she wanted to Roleplay! She choose a game, called her friend and they met on it. Soon playing happily, during the middle of the game, Owl asked Moon to call her, just resulting in asking the time, and calling her a fruit. Moon, Confused, hung up. Owl soon on the game screamed at her, " I NEED TO LEAVE, SUMMON THE SALAD GODS!!" Moon called her, once again confused and asked who these salad gods were, she just said..." My LIfe, Duh!" She left, and went to sleep. THE END -
Wow. Really good. You could stretch it out longer, though, and add more details. It could be made into a real novel someday!
