So I woke up on a couch in a house that wasn't mine, and I looked at the clock. it kept flashing 4:06. I got up and looked out the window. The sun was shining, there were no roads or other homes, just a sea of green grass waving in the spring wind. The house was completely quiet, so quiet that you would be able to hear a water droplet hit the carpet. I wandered the house looking at pictures of a family that seemed to be distorted, so whenever I woke, I couldn't remember what was on them. All the doors were locked I found my cross necklace, that I never take off, on a desk in a room down the hall. I read a book in the room I woke up in, not remembering what it was about, as nightfall began to pass, but when I looked the clock again, it was still flashing 4:06, and the house began to have an odd air to it. Then I began to hear this thick ominous ring, like a continuous note from a wind chime. I followed the ringing down the hall on the second story. It became so thick that I could barely keep standing when I got to the third room down the hall. I gently sat my hand on the doorknob and opened the door. The room was completely empty. Absolutely nothing except an open window with white drapes. I walked over to the window and looked down in the grass. A young boy, about the age of ten, was standing in the grass. Silent, staring off in the distance. I was about to call out when the ringing in my head shot me to the floor. the door slammed and the wind echoed through the windows frame. I stood when the ringing stopped and looked back outside. The boy was gone. I left the room quickly and shut the door as quietly as possible, as if something bad would happen if I didn't keep quiet. I head to the stairs, and just at the bottom, a lean black contorted figure was standing at the couch, holding my book. I tried to shriek, but nothing came out. I fled as fast as I could down the hall, the ringing returning to my ears, ripping me down. I fled into a room with a desk that had scattered paperwork and another open window. I slammed the door and threw myself under the desk, covering my ears, as if to stop the ringing, but I couldn't. I waited for it to stop, and then I got up. I opened the door ever so slightly and looked down the hall. Nothing was there, so I carefully walked down the hall and went down the stairs. I reached for the door handle and it wouldn't open. I went to the couch and took a paperclip from the table next to it. I went back to the door and bent the paperclip, attempting to pick the lock. It wouldn't budge. The ringing came back lightly and I look over my shoulder, ever so carefully. The black figure. it was right there. just a foot away. staring the life clean out of me, staring my consciousness clean out of me. I began tearing my hands into the doors frame to rip it out of place. I couldn't help it, I wasn't strong enough. The black figure grabbed me by the back of my neck and tore it's hand into my side. I began to bleed violently onto the tan carpet. I rip away as it tries to drag me down the hall and grab the door. I scream for help, but nothing came out, not even a whisper. The ringing was so thick that it felt as even my ears were bleeding. It tore into me again, this time my leg, ripping me down, tearing me away. I wasn't strong enough. I let go. It drug me away. After that, all I remember is pitch black darkness and the crimson red that stained the carpet beneath me as I was ripped apart.
