he lays there so unseen to the world
hidden behind a sheet of black
the way he likes it
invisible
behind every tear there lays a secret
for every bruise there lies a reason
he lays there so silent
while on the inside he’s dying
his face hidden
darkness has made him so indifferent
no smiles
just tears
never knew happiness
lived a life of sadness
behind every scar
so many words are left unspoken
for every tear that falls
there’s something hidden
best not to be known
no one knows his name
yet he likes it that way
the redness in his hair
for the blood that is shed
the green
a happy life never known
the black
a dead life left behind
a walking ghost
left to be unknown
and there he lies
leaving his dead life behind -
