The world stopped around him as he felt the ground shake, the moon so close to the town's clock tower. In a fiery blaze, it seemingly lurched forward, unflinching even when it destroyed the tall building. The young hero held his arms over his eyes, unsuccessfully blocking out the bright piercing light that blinded him to no end. With a final tremor, the moon crashed into the town and sent out huge waves of pressure and fire that began consuming everything in the way. I've failed.. he thought miserably. As the screams of the townspeople erupted forth, the young boy clothed in green sunk to his knees and punched the ground angrily, blood slowly oozing out from his fingers. "I was too late, and now they're paying the price..." With a heavy heart and tears in his eyes, he could only watch as everyone and everything he had come to love in Termina was devastated. Within his final moments, Link closed his eyes and anticipated the end. When you all left me, Majora was the only one to care for me...
