Thread Topic: I want to play my writing game.

It's a simple process. You are given a subject matter, (no fanfic) and have to produce a very short story about it. This subject matter could be anything. An object, a person, an emotion, a place. It is then the writers job to produce a small story with what you picked as a major part of it.
Let's begin:
Red blanket -
Day_dreamer NewbieI'd like to give it a try, pls tell how it was.
I stared at his handsome face listlessly. He slept like a baby with a small smile on his thin lips. He seemed so comfortable, deep in sleep, perched under his favourite red silk blanket. We had bought it during our honeymoon in Paris. His cosy posture in our King size bed made him look almost innocent. Innocent- I almost smirked out a laugh at the word. This was the same red blanket with which he used to cover my small body and beat me up with his belt every night, the same one with which he tried to strangle me last night and the same red blanket with which I wrapped his head and choked him to death with all of my strength after he dozed off to sleep after beating up. The sleeping pill in his drink was my partner in crime. I didn't forget to leave him in his regular sleeping posture. And I stared at him, stared at the things he'd done, the thing I'd done; he looked peacefully asleep if not dead.
