Swish, Snap, Thud!
Another one down for the count.
The large, dark man walked over and picked up the small body. "His breathing is shallow, but with any luck he'll live." The man chuckled, and set the small body in a wooden crate. There were five in there already, all just inches from death. Three men, including the one just captured; two woman; and a child, male. Seeing as it was a rather small crate, he only had room for one more. Not long after he started searching for that one more, he came across a child, female, lying face down in the street. Her clothing was torn, and she was cut and bruised in many places. Though most of you people from Earth would pity her poor shape, she fared rather well. She may have been in better shape then everyone in the crate, combined. "Easy prey." the man said, taking the child and placing her with the others.
This is what life is like here on Nitsu. The lower class are captured and sold like animals, while the upper class are better off then the richest of royalty.
I can imagine you Earthlings now. Your pitying faces, and yearning hearts. Unfortunatly, Nitsu is blocked off from the other planets. Much like your Japan once was, though alot less was at stake. ven as people from all over jump from planet to planet, and from galaxy to galaxy; we stay hidden in shadow. I'm lucky to have gotten this book to you.
But enough with what you already know, onto what I've written this for.
Though I must warn you, this book has now happy ending.
