The moon has chased away the sun
The tides out in the bay
Lift your anchor little one
Set sail and drift away
( that's the original short drifts lullaby it is not mine )
Listen to the sound of waves
They crash against the ship
Lift your head little one
Look up at sky's of grey.
But make sure to stand your ground
Don't let faires steal you away.
( that was me now this is jinx's part )
Hush, hush little one
The day is nearly done
Hush, hush little one
The story's just begun
Hush, Hush little one
Lay your head to rest
Dream of angles on swift white wings
And of fables so brave and true.
( the next part is me )
dance away your pain and fear
Let the merfolk be your nightly companions
As I cannot stay with you
Take her hand as she leads you
Away from a watery grave
Smile and laugh
Have joy don't cry
I will join you soon
Once you cried and it was enough
To sink this ship to the ground
Little one clear your mind
Stand up and you won't drown .
Run run little one away
Hiding out in the trees
Don't cry for me but keep on living
My dearest child away.
The Angels laugh and faires cry
The merfolk pray that she won't die
But I know better than to mourn
Until I hear the sirens horn
Trust that she is still alive
Trust in teh girl you know will survive
Sleep my precious child of magic
Dream your sorrows away
When morn comes you will be better
Even if you're far away.
The sun has chased away the moon
The tides not in the bay
Dock your ship sucrure your anchor
Otherwise you'll drift away -
After jinx's final line add in
Dream on dream oh you -
Do not cry
Stand up and you won't drown run my little one away*
But continue with the run run little oen for the next verse -
Also run run little one run run away.
-
Trust In the girl you know who will survive

The origanl drifty's lullaby. -
Laurel heard the scream from death's daughter her eyes widened in shock and horror . The battle must be going in the worst way possible for their side , what could she except with only three of them fighting an army of seventy , the other two had been separated from them. Than as strong as she was couldn't have been excepted to fight fifty all alone. Laurel cursed her self ,' Weak ,' she thought bitterly 'Useless,' The daughter of the goddess of love said to herself , as she felt tears threatening to creep up , her " friend" was going to die because she was to weak and scared to help her 'Coward!,' She heard the voice of a god inside of her mind exclaim.
,'No! I will not be a coward anymore!,' She screamed mentally the god became quiet.
Laurel looked around for anything she could use for a weapon. At that precise moment her azure eyes caught sight of something glinting through the dirt and dust. Frantically she dug into the ground with her nails dirtying and breaking them as she did so until she felt the all too familiar feel of the metal in her hands as she pulled the spear out of the ground. The blue eyed girl's expression morphed to one of victory it was the spear she had red about oh so long ago. The spear of Lady Luck. She shifted her hold on the weapon just as she heard Than cry out . The Hawaiian darted out behind the ruins which she had been cowering behind.
She blocked the attack from the sword of three of the men with her spear twisting it and disarming them . She quickly scanned the area ten men remained Than had managed to knock out forty all on her own. Laurel let out a gasp of horror as she noticed the blood and black liquid seeping from the bodies of the unfortunate men. Her focus switched back to the men as they tried to attack Than who had been thrown into the dirt by an attack she blocked their blows but this time they were prepared for the twist and kept a hold of their weapons. She realised Than unfortunately had the right idea raising her leg to kick up a shield of a warrior fallen from an ancient battle previously held in this area. She kicked it into her arms blocking the swords as she moved and stabbed her spear through three of the men , two of the ones whose swords had been knocked away. They fell with only a scream from one of the men.
Laurel screamed as a sword stabbed into her arm her spear knocked out of her hands it fell and was dragged through the ground by skeletal hands. She almost fell to her knees but in a moment of impulse and recklessness she discarded the shield closing her eyes tight , bringing her hands up and began to move them in a pattern akin to sewing . It looked as if she was weaving a tapestry in the air. Slowly glowing lights started to fade into reality in the spots where her hands had been before she began to leave her own trail of lights . The men charged but as they drew closer they began to slow caught in some form of spell. Laurel did not open her eyes for a while but when she did gone was the azure colour which existed in the kind orbs replaced by a gold mixed with colours Like pink and purple glowing and shifting as the lights she controlled did. This was her secret ability she had used it only twice and both times had ended with the death of someone dear to her heart. However she knew that was the price to pay for messing around with fate , she kept it hidden in fear she would be killed because of it and in fear of being forced to try and change the world something she couldn't and never would be able to do.
The men screamed as the agony hit them , Laurel's breath began to become heavy. The men looked in fear and shock as their bodies slowly began to fade out of existence starting from their left bottom and slowly going over their whole bodies. Once the men and completely disappeared Laurel bent down hands on her knees trying to catch her breath , as nothing around them changed Laurel decided that fate had only destroyed the men still alive, ,'but that wasn't possible,' she thought until dead bodies began to materialise she nodded to her self slightly still panting. She began to turn around to check on Than until she felt a sharp pain in her stomach , she screamed in pain as she looked down. Inside of her stomach was a sword , a sword the colour of chaos glowing in a way similar to the northern lights. Her heart cracked as it dawned on her who her killer was , the sword could belong to only one person. The sword belonged to the daughter of death , the sword belonged to Than.
" I can't allow a fate weaver to live," Than's monotone voice told her " Don't worry about Jace and the others I'll be sure to tell them you died trying to save me , but I'll only tell them that much of the truth it wouldn't be in my interests to let them know I was their dear Laurels killer," She continued. The grim reapers daughter withdrew her sword from Laurels body. " May your soul reach where it belongs" The dark haired warrior told her as she let Laurels body collapse to the ground.
" T-Than," Laurel said weakly as tears fell from her dying body. " Shh shh little one let your soul be free from your dying vessel," the reaper told her as she left Laurel to die.
A tear rolled down her cheek " M-Mother," Laurel sobbed weakly as her soul left her body.
" My child!" A voice cried softly though laurel could no longer hear its owner " I'm sorry" the goddess sobbed as she held her dying daughter in her arms Laurel raised a hand to touch her mother's face but it dropped before she could as the life permanently left her young body.
" Laurel," The woman sobbed at the moment not a goddess just a mourning mother , she picked her daughter's body now light with the loss of her soul and teleported away from the battle.
Rain began to fall after the goddess left from where Laurels blood fell a tree began to sprout and as it grew flowers blossomed but inside the hollow of the tree bloomed a glowing flower glowing as Laurels aura had before her death.
Fate had been woven that day the remnant left behind of the weaver would be embedded in the fate of later life.
