For anyone who has read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, does Frankenstein's monster's story make you want to roll over and cry? Like, he never wanted to be created, yet he is created by this crazy guy who wants to figure out how to create life. Then, not only does society find him revolting, but his own creator hates him. Then he finds a family who unknowingly teaches him how to be literate, so he chops wood and gets food for them, that is, until the family find out who he is and are disgusted by him. He finally convinces his creator to create a companion for him, but the guy destroys what was to be her instead, so the monster is forced to live alone and hated.
And yes, the monsters did murder a number of people, but think about how different he would be if instead of having everyone run from him, he were shown compassion.
