I go down again,
There's no one to save me, No way to escape this.
All I ran from,
Is taking over me, I'm used to its embrace.
A soft touch of its hand, A cold embrace, In its arms.
A dead smile on my face, a sign it takes as welcome.
Here I go again, I give up. I lose.
Let the blackness take me,
Let the void diffuse. -
"Dear don't put it out"
When darkness takes me in, into the shade,
There is a part of me, that doesn't fade.
You are that part of me, Shining in nights of me, Pouring some hope in the darkness.
You are the light of me, That lovely guide of me, What gives meaning to each verse.
Your fire burns in me, Desire aiding it.
Your lips are haunting me, They're out of this place.
And this fire burns in me, it's taken over.
I want it to go on, dear don't let me down. -
