ShutYourFace NewbieDoes anyone need a character, I created one, but I don't have a story to put her into...
-
What's the character?
-
ShutYourFace NewbieWell, it depends on the plot of the story if I hand her out to anyone, she's kind of one of a kind and I was bored when I made her so, it might good. I made everything about her, from Name, all the way to her favorite weapons to use.
-
Well can you tell me about her? Ooor
-
ShutYourFace NewbieWell, what basic details do you want to know? Like name or what?
-

You realise only around two people in recorded history had purple eyes, right? Their better be a good excuse for that one.
And as far as I know, nobody sees well in the dark. Give her a real disability for Christ's sake. Something that actually cripples her on a daily basis. (Not literally of course, because that's just lazy.) -
The eye color doesn't matter xP it's just a character.
But I do agree with te disability part. Most people can't see well in the dark. -

But it does matter! Someone with purple eyes would be a cultural phenomenon. The attention and knowledge that they were unique in such an obvious way would shape the way they lived their entire life! In medieval times they'd struggle with the suspicion of being a witch, in modern times they'd affect basic things like seeing properly in the light or earning a drivers license. Not to mention all the tiny ways it would effect living, being unique like that would influence your entire childhood AND most of your adult life.
And then you need to keep all this in mind as you create an interesting character. It's hard enough to write a good character already, much less having to think through all the little changes that would happen in life you had a one in a million eye colour! -
If someone had purple eyes where I live no one would give a s---, honestly. They'd live a perfectly normal life._.

I do believe IHLAOY has exaggerated a small ways, how-ever, having an extremely rare eye color would affect your character in several small ways.
