Her green eyes widened as she saw him. He looked so much like herself, it hurt. His hair was a shade of red darker, and slicked back against his head, but otherwise they were one and the same.
"Lorelei?" He said, recognition registering in his expression. "Lorelei, is that you?"
Her eyes filled with tears, as she ran over and hugged him, tightly, and smiled as he melted in her embrace just like he always had.
"Rem!" She exclaimed, looking up into his green eyes and grinning.
"Lorelei...but, you.." He started.
"Should be dead? It takes more than a little explosion to kill me, cousin!" She smiled. -
She lay there, motionless, except for the gentle rise and fall of her chest.
Lorelei smiled. The girl had fallen off a cliff onto the leader of a pack of ligers, and escaped unhurt. She was just like her mother.
The little girl had long dirty blonde hair and narrow, beautiful red eyes. She resembled her father to a T. But she still retained her mother's wild cuteness.
"Undine...time to wake up." Lorelei whispered. The small girl, Undine, yawned, blinking up at the older girl.
"Morning.." She said sleepily.
