A totalitarian capitalist dystopia. Like a cross between Les Miserables and 1984. Maybe with a touch of China in there.
A Star Trek-like compilation of all the civilizations I come up with.
Chemistry, but with humans. So Hydrogen is a lonely dude, meets Fluorine who needs one more valence electron to meet her goal of 8, and Hydrogen has that valence electron so he "bonds" with Fluorine. He also tries to bond with Neon, but she turns him down because she's of a higher status and doesn't bond with anyone (noble gas).
More political/religious metaphors like "Religion is a drug" (it's in the religion forum if you want to read it) -
Not really sure, but I guess you could use the 'Religion is a drug' literally as mandatory of the Government to keep people lucid.
