They say life is beautiful. That you should care about all of your years and never think about death. But they know it'll come. And when it does, that's when the truth shows.
Because we say life is a beautiful lie. You get it? We're wasting time above, making our miserable lives as happy as can be, trying to ignore the fact the purpose of life is to die.
Because we know death is the ugly truth. The darkness, no senses, no movement, just a cold body laying there.. That's your truth. That's our truth. Because that's when we gain a choice.
Forgive and forget, live on.
Or remember and hate. Stay in that damn hole. -
The paragraph above is an Epilogue. Story about the afterlife of someone. Somewhere in the afterlife. Somewhere.

The only issue with calling life pointless and void of meaning is that your logic requires that there actually BE an afterlife. For some of us, this is all we get. Make the best of it.
