SWAGAMUFFIN NoviceJillian was a troubled boy. for one, his name was a girls name, and he got bullied all the time for that! But he was short and skinny and weak. he was also the ugliest orphan at the orphanage.

Sam was a troubled girl. For one, her name was a boy's name, and she got bullied all the time for that! She was also skinny, weak, and tall. People taunted her and called her giraffe. She didn't feel there was anyone who could relate to her... until she moved to a new orphanage.

SWAGAMUFFIN NoviceThe new girl at jillians school was different to the other kids, yet very similar to jillian. When matron was showing her around, jillian secretly followed them. he learned that her name was sam, and she was quite frightening to jillian. she was a tall as a giraffe! that night, he went off to the library as usual, but he heard some shuffling a few rows over.

sam snuck into the library tlat night to chill, read, and escape this world. She got lost in inkheart, but was interrupted by a weird feeling that someone was watching her.

Sam looks up but doesn't see anyone. She heard footsteps, so she got up to investigate. She looked around and found nothing so she went back to her book.

SWAGAMUFFIN NoviceJillian was hidden under a bookshelf, breathing hard. to play it safe, he brought the book he was reading to his dorm. thankfully the other boys were asleep. he hid the book under his mattress

Sam went back to her dorm and flinched when she saw the word freak wriitten on her pillow in lip stick. She sighed, flipped her pillow over, and tried to sleep to no avail.

SWAGAMUFFIN NoviceThe next morning, after the usual morning bullying, jillian tried to eat but kept missing his mouth because he was looking at sam. same eyes flickered over to jillian and he held her gaze for a moment then blushed and looked down.

Sam looked at the boy curiosly. She saw someone dump they're trash on his lunch and wondered if the boy could relate.

Sam rolls her eyes and tells the person to back off. The person flicks her head again, so she stands up and moves to a different table. The person smirks and turns to walk away so sam flicks a bit of hot dog at her head.

" meet me in the library at lunch."
