Rosetta walked down the halls of her high school. She wasn't popular but she does have a couple friends.

Darcy quietly walked to her science class, trying to avoid the preps.Pretty much everybody considered her a freak.

Lena walked over to the office. She was new to the school, just like she was at four others that year. She hoped it would be different this year. She took her map and schedual.

Spotting a cheerleader, she quickly turned the corner, and hid within the crowd. I can't let her see me Darcy thought.

Rosetta head to her first class which was science. Almost everyone at school called her English.

Celeste quickly paced to geography with her group of friends. They chatted and laughed, but they didn't want to be late.

First period, Science. Lena thought, looking over her schedual. She looked at her map and followed the directions given.

She only allowed a few selected people call her Lark. Everybody else like the preps call her by Lark as a joke. Her face showed no emotion, as she sat down at a desk.

I entered my class and quickly took a seat. I hoped that the teacher wouldn't notice that she was late by 4 1/2 seconds.

Rosetta heard someone yell "Yo! What's up English?" and she turned around to see her friend Brandon.

Lena silently entered the class. She took a seat in the back, and took out her notbook.
