If I just close my eyes and just pretend that im not being yelled at for the childish things I do. If I just pretend that everything is going to be alright I could stop turning to the sharpness of a knife. If I just pretend that soon I will be embraced and never let go. I could just feel the warmth of my father yet again. If I pretend that shaking is normal. I might just be able to feel ' normal '.
If I just close my eyes. I wouldn't be able to see the arms reaching to help me.
I wouldn't be able to see that I have friends that looks over the cuts and bruises on my arm.
if I just open my eyes and let the truth suck in.... I might be able to be the happy girl that was tooken away from me. -
I liked this. I hate so many teens these days are so unhappy. Yes, I am a teen, so i understand. I'm unhappy a lot too! But this was really good!
