I squinted. "It looks more like a single cabin." Lermeck nodded. "It is. A farmers family lives there."

"How do you know so sure?" "You aren't from dark kingdom, are you?" i said jokingly.

He scowled. "No. But I've been here long enough to know."

"How long?" Furtim asked.

He paused, "Maybe about 5 months?"

We reached the wooden cabin. A few candles were lit inside. I saw a man inside. He dropped a bag of vegetables on the table, and say down on a chair. He seemed very tired. I took a step backwards from the window and stepped into some firewood, Which made a cracking noise. Which alerted the dog. He walked around the corner of the house and stopped when he saw us. I just stood there for a moment. Then he started to bark. The man in the house got up and put on his coat, ready to go outside.

I hesitates and stepped forward. I'd lived with animals my whole life and even if right now I couldn't talk to them I knew how to calm a barking dog. I gently held.my hand out, not making eye contact, and spoke softly to the dog. "Hey, we're not here to attack you or your family." The dog stopped barking and sniffed my hand, growled once, and loped off. I straightened up, "Hide, the farmers coming out." I muttered.

I sneaked over to the small barn and hid behind some bales of hay. I saw the light from the farmers lantern outside. "Hello?" He called repeatively (sorry if that word it wrong).

I followed Avis and crouched beside her, wincing as I heard Lermeck and Furtim scramble loudly behind the other side of the house. "Furtim should read some books about stealth." I hissed.

I laughed a bit. "Indeed." I whispered. The door of the barn opened. The farmer walked in and looked around.

I hunkered lower and glared across the barn to where a loud crashing sounded. "We're all gonna get caught!" I moaned and I heard Lermeck curse. The farmer grabbed a.pitchfork and approached the noise.

I quickly ran past the farmer. He noticed me and yelled something. He followed me to his house. I ran around the corner and saw a rock. I hid behind him. Right after that the farmer ran around the corner too. He cursed, and didn't look for me. He sighed and slowly walked back to the barn. I hoped the others would have left the barn during my diversion (don't tell me that's the wrong word again XD)

I hurries to where Lermeck and Furtim were hiding and grabbed both of them, "Come on!" I whispered, darting out of the barn, "Avis is distracting him!"
