Thread Topic: The place above our tiny blue dot in the black abyss

This thing needs a good bump...been half a month since I posted here.
-
Yet another bump...really wish people would ask me some damn questions, ugh...
-
What are we meant to be asking you?
-
-
Just...questions about space...must I be more specific?
-
Because you own space?
What do you think of life on mars, I've see photos where people have pointed out unusual things that look like plants or creatures. Although a lot of them just look like rocks to me, there are qutie a few where things look out of place. Do you think NASA is holding back on telling the public things. -
No XD I just know a thing or two about it
Honestly, I don't think they'd be holding back something like that. ..It makes sense why they would (not to cause panic) but if they did and some definitive proof that they were was to leak, wouldn't that just cause more pandemonium than it's worth? Also, people see things here all the time and it turns out to be nothing. ..Why would it be any different on Mars or any other planet? Our brains were wired to recognize familiar shapes and forms quickly abd easily, but that can lead to some non-helpful non-real sights. -
Half a month needs a bump

I've seen photos that looked like some sort of plant or creature but it didnt look like it could be a rock anyway. Unless some of those photos are faked but I dont see why they would be.
Do you think they have found all the planets in our solar system?
And why are they planning a base on Mars but they never put a base on the moon? -
faked for popopularity. Also the chance that what people seeing in them being true is tiny, plus it's probably just that seeing-things thing.
Maybe not, actually. Recently they discovered a planet somewhere between here and the neares star system, Alpha Centauri, that could be quite big (Super-Earth sized, maybe even gas giant sized which led me to have a theory on it)
Honestly, I'm not quite sure, but it might be the lack of air and certain resources. Though those are reasons I don't see how get in the way... -
Do you think that building on the moon would effect us, as in the tide/weather. Would it it change the gravitational pull or not make much difference? I've wondered this for a while
-
Building up there probably wouldn't actually show any effect back here on Earth, Even if it was some giant megastructure surrounding the Moon completely, It still wouldn't really change anything, and I don't think we even have the capability or resources to do that.
-
Oh, maybe it was a stupid question, I don't know much about the physics of space
-
Nah, it's just the way gravity works, and not many people really understand that, so it's fine. Trust me I've been asked way worse...
-
Ok
Do you know if the Mars mission is genuine? Someone just told me it was a scam to make money
