When it comes to foreign languages I can read them relatively well and understand, but the speaking part it usually more difficult to me. Even when it comes to things like Japanese or a language in a different writing system, if I get an idea of what a lot of it means, I can generally understand it. There's even words I wouldn't know how to say exactly but I can give an English meaning in my head and know them that way.
And this is why I basically have a wonderful grasp on a lot of languages but not really fluent in anything but English. .3. The hard part is I don't have much resources around me for the speaking part of learning.
