Sariel glances at the image in water before her, at the base of the tree at the center of the garden. There she can determine new hosts for souls, and waits patiently for Gabriel to tell her about a new soul, so she can find a suitable host. She hums softly, focusing on the surface.
Outside the central garden, a red haired man patrols, a sword at his side, his gaze scanning the outter limits, but it's clear.. he's very bored. He sighs deeply, knowing there won't be anyone approaching, but he continues his job, not having a choice, thinking about his project back at home. -
Gabriel runs out from among the trees clutching a small pink soul. “ Sari! Sari! Isn’t she beautiful? I can call it now! She’s going to be a poet! And Uriel is going to be so proud.” They smile up at the older archangel. “ ...I wish he could see them.”
-
Raphael begins to approach Uriel. She holds a basket. “...Hello. I’m not intruding am I?” She asks dryly knowing full well that she is in fact intruding. “ I assumed you may require food?” “ I wouldn’t want you to fail in your Job due to lack of sustenance.” -
Sariel smiles at that, looking up to see it. "Its beautiful, Gabriel.. I'm sure she'll make Uriel proud." She pauses, glancing back at the surface, before glancing back. "I think I have the perfect person for it."
She holds out her hands for the fruit.
-
Uriel pauses at that, visibly relaxing, nodding slightly. "Intruding.. But not an intruder. Um.. Thank you. Food is always appreciated."
He wants to add 'especially from you but that's illegal. -
Gabriel hands the fruit over before scampering over to the water’s edge, laying down to watch the synching of the body and soul.
Gabriel looks very excited to watch a new birth.
-
Raphael maintains her resting b---- face, but her eyes are another story she places the basket down. “...just to ensure you actually eat, why don’t we partake in it together?” -
Sariel gently moves to place it against the water's surface, a gentle aura surrounding her, then trickling into the fruit and the water, before the water wraps around the fruit and the fruit disappears. The glow then trails up the tree nearby, before fading completely from her and everything else.
She sighs deeply, glancing over at Gabriel. "And there's another human born. Good choice with that one."
-
Uriel pauses at that, glancing around for a moment, before back at her.
"I.. suppose a short break wouldn't be wrong- alright." -
Gabriel looks very pleased. “ we need to find three more and then we can take a break for lunch right?” They ask very happy. “ there’s a good harvest today....but...some of the ripe ones feel..off.”
-
Raphael nods as she sits beside her basket. “ ...I made everything with my own hands, so I can assure that it’s safely prepared, and Gabriel had nothing to do with it.” -
"Feel off..? Is something wrong with them?" She's clearly very concerned at that bc her children-
-
When she sits, he would move to sit nearby, close, but not too close, after having set his sword aside because comfier.
He's quiet, but that's normal, the tol redhead not knowing what to say. -
Gabriel looks a little uncomfortable. “ I don’t know...they feel like they’re going to suffer...should I still send them out?” They ask gently.
-
Raphael moves a little closer. She gently reaches for Uriel’s hand. There’s a cough, as a familiar white haired angel approaches.
Raphael stands up.
“ I was called in the event that Gabriel had fallen, but they were fine-“
“ I’m not going to report you, but...you guys need to be more careful what if you had gotten caught by someone else?” Micheal lectures worriedly, “ lucifer and I can’t keep saving you guys.” -
Sariel clearly is conflicted at that, looking at the water tiredly, before back at Gabriel.
"I suppose we have to, if they're ready to go.. we can't pick an choose that aspect, sadly.. But I'll try my best to give them what I can."
-
Uriel is blushing when he hears Michael, looking over before nodding faintly.
"I.. Will try my best. I Don't want anyone to get in trouble on my behalf." -
Gabriel nods and goes to the fruit tree, selecting three ripe fruits. “...let’s...let’s just get this over with?” Gabriel says tiredly. They’d been doing this for a very long time.
-
Raphael nods gently. “ of course...I apologise. Why don’t you join us.” She offers calmly. Micheal sighs.
Raphael wouldn’t look at either of them, as she didn’t want to see Micheal’s disappointment or Uriel’s potential judgement. -
Sariel nods, and would decide on hosts, repeating the process from before three more times, sighing deeply after they finish, kind of slumping now, clearly distressed at what they had to do.
-
"..Michael, it's just a lunch. You don't have to worry." He says calmly, though, he almost always speaks calmly, so- -
Gabriel smiles gently. “ can we go eat lunch now?i really want to take a break now. “ they murmur softly,” I’m...so tired” they announce clinging to her
-
Raphael looks up at Micheal. “ seriously, it’s just a lunch.” She says calmly. Micheal sits beside them. Raphael is calm as they eat.
“I made enough for Gabriel and Sariel when they come out.”
Micheal smiles gently. “ I’m...glad it’s very good that we can spend time together, it’s been a while,” he remarks gently -
Sariel smiles softly, gently patting his head before she carefully moves to get up.
"Let's go, then~" She moves to gently take his hand, and start leading him back toward the entrance.
-
Uriel nods softly, pausing in his meal to speak. "Its very nice.. we should do this more often." -
Gabriel is holding her hand tightly when they spot the others.
“ hi! Are we having a picnic?” They ask excitedly as they sit down beside them tugging Sariel down with them.
-
“ Ah yes, that would be...excellent...just remember don’t tell lucifer we did this without him or he’ll get his feathers in a ruffle.” He laughs.
Raphael smiles very faintly, and only very briefly as she continues to eat the prepared food. -
Sariel shifts to carefully sit down with him, humming softly.
"Almost the whole family. Just missing a couple."
Uriel continues eating, listening to them, trying his best to not glance too long at Raphael.
