please move it after an hour or two but for now can it stay here? I'm sorry, I know that's kinda not super convenient but I really do need prompt advice
What foods do you think warm up in the microwave without becoming overly mushy/soggy? I'm trying to plan out my packed lunches for the week and I have issues with food textures. I'm picky, but I'm open to all general suggestions/ideas. Right now my rotation is limited to five dishes and I really need more variety in my diet. -
Bread
-
I'll post more when I think of more.
-
Chicken patties
Mashed potatoes
Stir fry
Pastas
Soup
I'm all out of ideas. XD -
Shoot, I read that wrong. Bread does become soggy, for some reason my brain took out the 'without' part
-
i find that bread gets weird in the microwave x.x
pasta dishes are def a safe option. -
Yeah, I agree with Eva, those would probably be your best options.
-
I wish I weren't so picky >:(
soups would be a good option except i eat around the parts i don't like and would have no way to dispose of the left overs other than dumping them in the toilet and I have anxiety about that for some dumb reason x.x -
Maybe some pot pies?
-
i put them in the oven because i can't do mushy BUT that's a good idea, I have a mini potpie recipe where you use biscuits and a muffin pan!! they warm up okay except for the bottoms but i eat them with a fork so that would be fine
-
salad would be okay i think
-
burgers work well if you just microwave the patty instead of microwaving everything
-
oo good idea i'll have to use that for next week
I finished planning for the next two weeks :) we can move this now, thank you guys for letting it sit here <3
