The people from 2008-2010 should be the only ones with admin options. The new members are too easily attached and too easily frustrated. They'd ban you just for insulting a friend, swearing, etc.
And I say 2008 because thats when tongue joined. Other then him, I think, everyone is 2009-now -

I think this doesn't have to be new users against older users. Some newer people are still every reasonable and mature. Like Hailey here, already taking action while being kinda creepy.

I'm curious to see how this email was composed.
And I feel that the moderator privileges should be given to those who GTQ Guy himself sees fit. There is only one administrator, but moderators would act as a balance system. Not being able to do anything too devastating, but being able to withhold the rules. GTQ Guy may not show up often, but when he does he learns about the community. He knows us better than some random newbie who just showed up. I trust his judgement on who should get moderator privileges. -
@James We're not making decisions, but simply voicing who we'd expect would do a good job based on how we've seen them around the site.

I understand and respect that. I was stating that the final decision is up to GTQ Guy though. And I stated my opinion on how the positions should be given, as was the conversation on page 1.
