Quiz:
While we are not currently looking for any new moderators for the team, mods are generally selected through community and moderator recommendations for the team, or through gtq guy himself. We look at a few different things such as: Behavior, understanding of rules, ability to handle certain situations, any history of rule breaking or other behavior which could cause issues, how active they actually are, and similar ideas. Moderators generally must all agree on any new additions to the team before adding somebody, unless GTQ Guy himself adds somebody in on his own accord
We do prefer somebody of adult age for a moderator these days. Because there is just some content and situations we do not feel minors should have to handle. And we have seen how moderating at such a young age can impact some people. So being an adult definitely helps haha -

I can see I'm in that picture. I was one of the original mods, but since I left the site for like six years, I think they removed most of my actual mod capabilities like unlocking threads, removing posts, heck even flagging posts. Which I'm not bothered by, who knows if I'm even sticking around this time, but it is a bit funny that I've even lost some "powers" that non-mods have :D
