Cilantro NewbieWhy does this happen? Is it something that can be fixed or explained, please? I know I'm new, and that this is probably a dumb question, but I haven't explored much of this site.

If you mean to post a new reply, the "this thread is locked" is a text error that hasn't been fixed. It's supposed to say that you can't submit a reply until a certain amount of seconds has passed. Additionally, some users can only make up to 2 threads due to their status.
