Thread Topic: Bumping old threads isn't against the rules.
-
-
It might not be but it's annoying.
-
It counts as spam.
-
Dark if I do it once a day no it doesn't.
-
We can still assume it to be spam because you're intentionally bumping threads.
-
Yeah? You bump your thread? A lot of people post random s--- on their threads? It's not spam.
-
Somebody told that bumping old threads won't be counted as spam until the thread is of that person who is bumping. In short, you can bump your old threads.
-
^Exactly.
If you are the owner of the thread and you bump them, as long as it's not a spam thread or whatever, you are free to bump it. But if it is not your thread and you bump it, it's certainly spam. -
Guys, I don't think either of you know the definition of forum spam. You're making yourself look stupid. As long as I don't post anything like "jabxuedbidn" and post something revelant to the thread it is not spam.
-
Relevant*
Also which one of my posts got marked? My post time is 18 seconds. -
That doesn't actually fit into spam and if you're going to post something relevant it won't be a spam.
You should not bump old threads since you are always allowed to make new threads. So make a new thread instead of bumping old threads.
If the number of old threads you bump is more than a reasonable limit, then it could be counted as spam because it is equal to making new threads but much irrelevant than starting a new topic. -
^it's my personal opinion, though.
-
Jeeesh if I bump one old thread per day, and I post something relevant in it. It's not spam, that's my point.
-
One old thread per day? You intend to bump 30 old threads in 30 days. It's not going to affect anybody. I don't think it'll be a spam. But still you're advised not to do so.
