we should have the ability to change our usernames
obviously this wouldn't allow users to take other existing users usernames becAUSE it would say the name has already been taken, duh

Being able to change usernames has been brought up over and over, and, as always, it's a bad idea. I'm not going to go over why it's not a good idea because you've been in past threads where people have brought it up and others have explained why it's stupid.

It would be cool if we could change the emails associated with accounts, though. I made this account when I was in middle school. My school email address from eighth grade is still stuck on this account. That email doesn't even exist anymore.

What about allowing users to change their usernames only once? And when one user changes his or her user name, there will be the old username on their profile page for few days along with their new username.

^ or make it to where you can only change your username between a certain amount of time?
