No we don't need to get rid of this feature. Besides, it was made for just that reason, to link quizzes to new accounts.

You could tie quizzes to the ip or email of the person. For example, I went on a random account and tried 123456 as the password for the quiz, and guess what? It worked.

I really don't see how this is problematic, though. If people make their quiz passwords so weak, it's their own fault.
