No. This was already brought up in the past.
If we had that option, that'll cause a lot of problems.
Say that I wanted to change my username to BluWhale. I change it. Then someone else changes their username to rvelez. People will think I am the person under the username rvelez. Then I will want my username back and it'll be impossible since there could only be one person with the username.
It'll only cause confusion. -
I agree with rvelez. Whereas I would LOVE to capitalize the first "t" in my username, it would make communication ridiculously complicated.
The only reason that you can change your name other places, like kik for instance, is because your username stays the same. The profile name may change, but people can still tell it's you by your username. Ten people can make their kik name "Nobody," but all their usernames will be different, so we can tell them apart.
However, that's not the case here, so in order to avoid mass chaos and lots of hurt feelings, we can't.
