Thread Topic: Even though everyone says this, i have an idea for a forum.

There are many forums to use, and if none work for a topic there's the lounge. When users are leaving the site for a while, or something else important happens, they post it here in F&U, but some users find scrolling down the page too unessecary, so it often goes unnoticed. But what if we had some sort of user messageboard on the top of the forums page? All threads made must be important, and users could need to have the thread okayed by a mod. Feedback?

This seems to be beneficial to the site, but there are also a couple of minor setbacks. Wouldn't it take long to code? Also, GTQ Guy doesn't get on that much anymore, and he probably wouldn't notice this because this might be bumped down when he does again. There's also the fact that some moderators might have a bias, or may accidentally leave a certain thread up there for too long, to the point where it isn't even relevant anymore. I know it sounds kind of stupid, but people might want to have their thread marked "important" by a moderator and whine when it isn't. There's always that possibility. One last thing, moderators are great and all, but let them handle the arguments. I think it'd be best if someone who has slightly more authority could do what you just said.
...Then again, I can't think of anyone. -

Just wanted to pop up in here and say -- That's a B.S. reason. Either he's left us here to rot or he should take a little time to make the site neater.
Notice we don't have the snowflakes on our posts like last December. Oh, but it's just too much to code, despite the fact it's only a tiny graphic and it's already been done, thus could be easily recycled.
But he doesn't get on much so hey. -

Geek should hack gtqguy - would that get his attention? Probably not. At least when G2Qguy came on it felt like someone was here :(
