When you're making a quiz (at least on a test) when you're choosing a right answer it gives you the option to give a comment. Why is that?

Oh, I don't know because it never even shows up on the quiz. I thought when youve taken the quiz and click 'see the answers' the explanations would be there but they're not.
I think it might be for factual answers like general knowledge - maybe the idea was if a quiz taker complained to the website about an answer being incorrect then they could look at the persons explanation for it...i dunno though -
You are supposed to see the explanation along side the correct answer but it doesn't work that way so I suppose it is practically useless....Moderator
