And the past is the past. None of us right now could control it. You need to learn to forget about it.
-
cer1992 NewbieI try to forget it, but my parents keep telling me "white people this" and "mexicans are that". They wanna think everything is so racist. I have all kinds of friends, regardless of their skin color. But my parents, especailly my mom, tells me that I should just stick to my own kind, which I refuse as that would be wrong. My father, on the other hand, is pretty cool with me and wouldn't mind if i had a non-black girlfriend, while my mom would go off on me about it if i were to bring the girl into the house.
-
Well, I guess some of her racistness rubbed off on you.
-
cer1992 NewbieAnd the reason I often thought about wanting to change my race is to avoid the discrimination that we blacks often suffer. Actually, I'm cool with who I am, but when I'm reminded of something, say, "ghetto", that's when I wish i could just get away from it. But i don't mean it literally. DaughterOfApollo, at least you're not racist and that's a good thing.
Listen, you have your opinion and I have mine's. So, if you want to believe that women are more violent than men, so be it. I'm not changing my opinion, and you don't have to change yours. Everyone is who they are, regardless of their gender, religion, or race. Human beings altogether are compassionate, nurturing, and loving, while at the same time selfish, greedy, and violent. You chose which one you'd rather be. I've chosen mine's. I'm really sorry for pushing away your opinion as if it didn't matter. You can believe whatever you want. This is a free country, after all. I guess that's that? -
*Chinese
Racism and stereotypes? Wow, get a dumb whore because that's all you deserve. -.- -
Honestly, whites have no right to pull the racism crap that they did, and some still hold onto today. Weren't Native Americans here first anyway?

^Jay
?has a point. -
Evan.
And Hispanics are widely discriminated too. Half the time someone who is 'Hispanic' on tv is partially white in some way.
I can't tell you how many times I've heard the small penis crap. Yeah, Japanese here. But that stereotype isn't true for all of us. -
cer1992 Newbie@DaughterOfApollo No, I am not a rcaist at all. I just disapprove of how many people of my race have to think everything is racist and that they want to isolate themselves from everyones. Regardless of skin color or gender, everyone is who they are. So, if you want to believe that women are more violent than men, so be it. I'm not changing my opinion, and you don't have to change yours. Human beings altogether are compassionate, nurturing, and loving, while at the same time selfish, greedy, and violent. It all depends on that person's soul. There's absolutely no reason why we should be scared of one another. Where is the love, people? God created us all to love each other, not to hate or discriminate against. He did not intend for the world to be the way it is now, but he did give us free will to do whatever we wanted and that's his greatest gift to us all. So, stop the hate and spread the hope!!!!!

*facedesk* stupid.
I hate how people believe stereotypes. Like they assume that all Asians are geniuses. -.- I mean some can be total air heads. Also that people who are African are all gangsters or poor. There's a lot more. -
That one that Mo likes. Smart academically, but very slow and out of it at times. Sounds like me! ^-^
I can be smart, but sometimes I won't fully understand what someone says.
If you bring someone from Asia though, a lot of the schools are year round. They don't get 3 whole months off. So they can learn at a faster pace, I guess. We're not automatically 'smart', it's like they train them to learn at a faster pace. -
@Evan I know. :P but noooo everyone's all like, "no, they just don't do anything but study and make us stuff!" e.e
-
Hn. How rude of them. :I
It's kinda like when Gangnam Style came to America...I'm sick of hearing 'oppa gangnam style!' everywhere I go. Then there was one person making up their own Asian words, Jay almost slapped them as hard as his muscles would allow. Which, is a lot of force... -
@Evan Pretty much. The only nice thing is people are beginning to realize other genres of music are out there and some is okay.
-
I suppose...I just hate when they try to make fun of my language.
